I’m Lexus Hikes, and welcome to my virtual ecosystem.
Here you’ll find stories, trail routes (some already linked in video, more coming soon), and reflections on why time in nature matters. I believe being outside is a mutually beneficial relationship: it restores us when we need it most, and in return, we’re inspired to give back to it.
I’m an advocate for the environment and the places we ALL call home. 🐝
I carry both a serious and a silly side – don’t we all? My hope is to use both to amuse and educate.
So, why Lexus? Strange choice for a lifelong planeteer, I know—but it has nothing to do with the car. Lex became Lexus, and the name stuck like burrs on hiking socks.
I’ve covered plenty of kilometers and a few End-to-End hikes, but a true trail name hasn’t found me yet. Until then, Lexus Hikes feels right.
Campers did call me the Lorax back in the day, but my mustache will never grow anywhere near as thick as his.
